Gail has over 30 years of experience in the produce industry, working as a grower, packer, shipper, sales agent, broker, as well as contractor. Thomas Produce, Scotlynn Sweet Pac Growers, Cabbage Inc and Williams Farms are some of the many farms that Gail worked with throughout her extensive and diverse career. In 2012, Gail joined the Florida Association of Food Banks to pursue her lifelong passion to help her neighbors in need. Her experience working with the nation’s largest hunger relief network inspired her to develop this innovative system. Gail has also worked with many large chains, including Walmart, H-E-B, Kroger, Wegmans, and Publix.
Since 2012, Gail has been worked to alleviate hunger nationwide moving over 250 million pounds of fresh produce to non-profit organizations.

Emily Starratt was born and raised in Wauchula, Florida. She received her Associate of Arts degree in May 2014 from South Florida State College in Avon Park. Emily also studied at the University of Florida in Gainesville majoring in Food and Resource Economics, specializing in Marketing and Management. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Florida in May 2016. Currently Emily lives and works in Wauchula, Florida.

Amy is a Senior Manager in the State Tax Controversy group for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. where she focuses on multi-state income tax audit matters. Prior to joining Walmart, Amy served as a consultant in the Florida State and Local Tax practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers. Amy has over 10 years of experience in the state and local tax area concentrating on corporate income and franchise tax matters, as well as multi-state partnership tax, and employment and property tax matters. She has also been actively involved in compliance, restructuring, provision review, and multi-state consulting and controversy projects involving a wide array of industries including financial services, retail and food services, professional sports and homebuilding/construction.
Amy is a graduate of The Florida State University, where she earned both a Masters of Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed to practice in the State of Florida and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Zach’s professional background ranges from running a small business to communications positions in nonprofit, small business, agency and local government. The Louisiana native was raised in Tallahassee, FL and attended Tallahassee Community College, Florida State University and the University of North Florida earning a bachelor's degree in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations. Zach has experience working with Florida’s agriculture industry as Communications Director for the Florida Association of Food Banks’ Farmers Feeding Florida program.
Sourcing and Sales
Steve’s agricultural career sprouted when he was born into a farming family that raised quality fruits and vegetables on 7,000 acres in New York and 14,000 acres in Florida. This fertile environment sustains his 40+ years in the produce industry, which includes experience with growers, shippers, packers, retailers, wholesalers, importers, exporters, and food service. Marissa received an Associate of Science degree from Grand Rapids Community College and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Food and Nutrition from Western Michigan University. She now specializes in providing a high level customer service and sales experience.
While working at Feeding America, a nationwide hunger relief organization, she recognized the thrill and satisfaction of the fast paced world of produce and helping the food insecure. At Farmer’s Choice, Marissa continues this passion. Marissa was raised in Midwest Michigan, and still resides there with her husband and two children.

Molly has been moving produce to food banks since 2010 where she started with Feeding America, a nationwide network of food banks. She has worked with 50 of the largest growers in the Midwest and has moved over 100 million pounds of fresh produce to those in need. She is very creative and will find a way to get as many commodities on one truck as humanly possible. Currently Molly resides in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with her family.

Mark brings over forty years of sales experience to Farmer’s Choice. Based on his extensive sales background, the early stages of his career, the first fifteen years were developed under the leadership guidelines of the Coca Cola and Frito-Lay Corporations. Responsibilities of route sales, account development, new product roll-outs, district sales. Introduced into the produce segment in 1991, from there over the next 27 years held positions as the sales manager for two mid-Atlantic companies.
Since the early 2000s with his introduction into the Food Bank network, his responsibilities have been account development. Realizing over the next 18 years the overwhelming needs of the Food Bank patrons, his mission has turned also to developing and securing commodities from a vast network of grower / shippers. These relationships are crucial in the ongoing fight to battle hunger in this country.

Administrative & Support
Jessica is a graduate of South Florida State College. She earned her Associate’s Degree and is currently attending Florida International University to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Jessica currently works and resides in Wauchula, FL.
Sara attended South Florida State College, she grew up in the produce industry and has extensive experience in packing house and quality control. She currently resides Avon Park, FL with her three children.
Sean is a Florida native with over 10 years’ experience in the produce logistics industry. He has extensive experience in LTL and TL produce loads throughout the southeastern United States. Sean currently resides in Avon Park, FL with his wife and two children.
